Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Selected image content is decoded, processed, previewed, and packaged in your browser. Ordinary requests for the website itself still reach Cloudflare.
Which formats are supported?
Major web and common image formats are supported at different levels: JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, SVG, BMP, TIFF, HEIC/HEIF, and ICO. The support matrix explains exact limits.
Can I process multiple images?
Yes. Select up to 30 files within the 50 MB per-file and 300 MB per-batch safety limits, then download results individually or as a ZIP.
Does image compression reduce quality?
Lossy compression can reduce quality. You choose the tradeoff. PNG and sanitized SVG paths are handled differently and are not described with unsupported no-quality-loss claims.
Can the tool remove GPS metadata?
The local metadata parser detects common GPS fields and warns when they are found. Raster cleaning uses decode-and-re-encode to remove the tested metadata blocks.
