Local image processing
When you select an image, its contents are read by JavaScript and WebAssembly running in your browser. The application may create temporary in-memory buffers, canvas pixel data, workers, previews, object URLs, processed blobs, and ZIP archives. It does not post selected image bytes to ImagesCompressor, Cloudflare, Google, an analytics vendor, an advertising vendor, or an external image API.
Object URLs are scoped to the active page. The application revokes them when results are removed, the batch is cleared, or the page closes. Browser crashes or implementation limits can affect cleanup timing, but object URLs do not identify a server location.
Website requests and Cloudflare
The static site is intended for Cloudflare Pages. Requests for pages and static assets therefore pass through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request headers, security signals, and access logs under its own terms and retention practices.
This local-processing statement does not mean the website is invisible to the hosting provider. It means selected file contents are not intentionally included in a request generated by the image tool.
Browser storage
The application may store a small consent-preference object in localStorage. It contains necessary, analytics, and advertising choices plus an update timestamp. Analytics and advertising remain disabled in the current release.
Images, filenames, processed results, and extracted metadata are not intentionally placed in localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, Cache Storage, or another persistent browser database.
Cookies, advertising, and analytics
Google AdSense is prepared but disabled. The placeholder publisher ID is not valid, and the AdSense script is not loaded. If advertising is activated, Google resources may contact Google and may use cookies or similar technologies when permitted. The policy, cookie controls, Content Security Policy, and ads.txt must be updated before activation.
No Google Analytics or tracking pixel is installed. Cloudflare Web Analytics may be considered in the future only after disclosure, preference handling where appropriate, performance review, and a network test confirming that selected image content is never transmitted.
Data retention and rights
ImagesCompressor does not operate a server database of uploaded images because uploads are not part of the product. Ordinary hosting and email records may be retained by their respective providers.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning identifiable information processed by an operator or provider. Send a request to the contact email with enough detail to identify the relevant interaction. The operator may need to verify a request and may not control records held independently by another provider.
International users, children, and changes
The site is accessible internationally from an operator based in Morocco. Legal rights and provider infrastructure can vary by country. The service is not intentionally directed to children, does not request an age, and does not ask users to create an account.
Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised review date. A professional review is required before relying on this policy for a specific jurisdiction or advertising configuration.
