1. Who we are

ImagesCompressor operates imagescompressor.com from Morocco for a worldwide general audience. Contact us at contact@imagescompressor.com.

2. Image processing

The unified Image Studio processes implemented JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, and BMP input workflows locally in your browser. Advanced features may download self-hosted JavaScript and WebAssembly assets, but selected images are not included in those requests. Before/after images are bounded preview copies generated locally and referenced through temporary browser object URLs; downloads retain the processed output resolution. Files and previews remain in temporary browser memory until removed, replaced, cleared, the comparison closes, or the page session ends. Your privacy choices do not change image-processing features, quality, or downloads.

3. Source metadata

If you choose “View metadata,” a self-hosted reader processes selected EXIF, IPTC, XMP, and related fields locally. Image content, filenames, dimensions, file sizes, EXIF, GPS, categories, processing results, output formats, and recommendations are not sent to Google Analytics. Processed raster files are re-encoded from decoded pixels and do not copy source metadata blocks, although a browser or codec may add a standard color profile.

4. Ordinary website delivery

Hosting and security systems may process technical request data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URLs, timestamps, referrer information, and security signals. Cloudflare may provide hosting, content delivery, and security under its own terms and policies.

5. Contact information

If you email us, we receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, protect the service, and keep records where reasonably necessary. Do not email sensitive images unless you independently decide that it is appropriate.

6. Privacy choices and Google Analytics

The site displays its privacy choices globally and stores the versioned record described in the Cookie Policy. Necessary storage is always active; Analytics and Advertising are separate and off until chosen. The footer's “Cookie preferences” button lets you change or withdraw optional consent.

Under Basic Google Consent Mode v2, GA4 loads only after Analytics consent on the production domain. Google may then receive the page URL, referrer, browser, device, approximate location derived from the network connection, and standard interaction data. The integration sends no custom image-processing events or image data. Withdrawal affects future processing and triggers best-effort removal of known GA cookies; it cannot retroactively delete information Google previously received.

7. Advertising

Choosing the Advertising option loads banner and native ad units served by Adsterra; no ad script of any kind runs before that choice. Adsterra may set its own third-party cookies or use similar techniques inside its ad frame to measure delivery and limit fraud, governed by Adsterra's own privacy policy rather than this one. The public ads.txt also identifies an authorized Google AdSense publisher, but AdSense display script, Auto Ads, and personalized AdSense advertising remain inactive pending approval and a separate consent review. The custom Advertising choice updates Consent Mode signals for future use, but it is not a Google-certified CMP and does not generate IAB TCF consent. Before personalized Google ads can operate in regulated regions, a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB TCF must be configured as applicable.

8. Sharing and sale

We do not directly sell personal information. Technical data may be processed by providers helping host, secure, or operate the website. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or investigate abuse.

9. Retention and security

Locally processed images are not retained by our servers because they are not sent there. Email and operational records may be retained only as reasonably necessary for their purpose, disputes, security, or legal obligations. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Children

The service is intended for a worldwide general audience and is not specifically directed at children. Do not use it to process or share unlawful content or content violating another person's rights.

11. Your choices

You may reject all optional technologies and still use every image tool without an account. You can also clear the queue, leave the page to end the active processing session, use browser privacy controls, and avoid sending correspondence.

12. International access and changes

Laws differ by location. This policy does not claim GDPR, CCPA, Google, or other certification. We may update it when the service, providers, or legal requirements change; a material consent change will increment the consent version and ask for a new choice.
