Terms of Use
The rules and responsibilities that apply when using ImagesCompressor and its browser image tools.

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using ImagesCompressor, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
ImagesCompressor provides free browser-based image processing and informational content. No account, subscription, or server upload is required for the implemented tools. Features and supported formats may change as browsers and the service evolve.
3. Your files and backups
You retain responsibility for your files and outputs. Keep backups of originals before processing. Compression, resizing, conversion, rotation, metadata removal, and color handling can change a file. Recommendations are heuristic, results vary by image and browser, and some conversions can increase file size. We do not guarantee that every conversion is lossless, smaller, visually identical, or suitable for a particular use.
4. Permitted use
You may use the service for lawful personal or business purposes. You must have the rights or permission needed to process the content. Do not use the service for unlawful material, infringement, abuse, malware distribution, interference with the site, attempts to bypass safety limits, or conduct that harms others.
5. Sensitive content
Although the implemented image path is local, avoid processing unlawful content and evaluate your own security needs before handling sensitive, confidential, regulated, or high-risk material in any general-purpose browser tool.
6. Availability and changes
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Browser limits, memory, codecs, device capacity, extensions, and network conditions can affect operation. We may add, remove, limit, or modify features and content without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability.
7. Intellectual property
The ImagesCompressor name, site design, text, code, and brand assets are protected to the extent provided by applicable law and licenses. Your rights in your own image files remain yours. Third-party libraries retain their own licenses. The unmodified ExifReader library is used under MPL-2.0; its corresponding source and license are available from the ExifReader 4.41.3 source repository.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. ImagesCompressor is not responsible for lost originals, unsuitable outputs, compatibility failures, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
9. Governing context
ImagesCompressor is operated from Morocco. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived in your location.
