How ImagesCompressor remembers privacy choices and uses optional analytics and advertising technologies.

Necessary storage
The image tools work without optional cookies. On a first visit or when the saved record is invalid, expired, or from an older consent version, the fixed privacy banner presents Accept all, Reject all, and Customize with optional categories off. ImagesCompressor stores one first-party local-storage record after you make a privacy choice. This record is strictly necessary to remember that choice; it contains only a version, the Analytics and Advertising selections, and a timestamp.

Invalid or outdated records are ignored and optional choices return to off. If browser storage is unavailable, the site remains usable, defaults optional categories to denied, and may ask again on a later visit.
Analytics
ImagesCompressor uses Basic Google Consent Mode v2. Google Analytics 4 does not load and no Analytics request is made until you enable Analytics. After consent, Google may set _ga and _ga_* cookies and receive standard technical information such as page URL, referrer, browser, device, approximate location, and ordinary site interactions. Image contents, filenames, dimensions, EXIF or GPS data, processing results, output formats, and recommendations are not sent to Analytics.
Advertising
Advertising is a separate optional choice. Choosing it loads banner and native ad units from Adsterra inside isolated iframes or script-rendered containers, and updates the Consent Mode signals ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization for future use. No ad script of any kind runs before you make this choice. Ads served through Adsterra may set third-party cookies or use similar techniques within their own frame to measure ad delivery and limit fraud; those are set by Adsterra's domain, not readable by this site, and are governed by Adsterra's own privacy policy. No live Google AdSense script or personalized AdSense advertising is currently enabled, and choosing Advertising does not itself authorize personalized Google ads in regions where a Google-certified, IAB TCF-integrated consent management platform is required.
Change or withdraw your choices
Use the “Cookie preferences” button in the footer at any time. Withdrawal updates Consent Mode immediately, prevents future application Analytics calls, and attempts to remove known first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies. Cookie removal is best effort and withdrawal does not delete data Google previously received. Rejecting optional choices never blocks image processing, downloads, or other core tools.
Essential infrastructure
Cloudflare may provide hosting, content delivery, and security and may process request data or use technical mechanisms needed to deliver and protect the site. The preference control does not delete Cloudflare security data or unrelated browser storage.
