Necessary storage
A localStorage entry named imagescompressor:consent:v1 records whether analytics and advertising were selected and when the choice was updated. This prevents the preferences notice from reopening on every page.
Blocking browser storage may cause the notice to reappear. It does not prevent the core image tools from processing files in memory.
Analytics and advertising categories
The interface contains analytics and advertising preference switches so the architecture can be replaced by an appropriately reviewed consent solution later. No analytics script or tracking pixel is installed, Google AdSense is disabled, and choosing a switch does not itself activate those services.
If Google advertising is served in a region where certified consent handling is required, the operator should configure an appropriate Google-certified Consent Management Platform rather than treating these development controls as a legal guarantee.
Changing preferences
Use the Cookie preferences link in the footer to reopen the controls. You can also clear site data through your browser. Browser settings may block or delete first-party and third-party storage independently.
Third-party cookies
The current Content Security Policy does not allow AdSense or analytics connections. Future third-party services may set or read cookies only after their code, disclosures, consent conditions, and security domains are deliberately configured.
