Convert AVIF to PNG

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Will alpha transparency remain?
Yes for ordinary still AVIF images with alpha; the test suite also inspects a real transparent AVIF output.
Why is the PNG larger?
PNG uses lossless pixel storage, while AVIF is usually much more compact.
Is there a PNG quality slider?
No, the browser PNG encoder does not expose a meaningful lossy quality control.
